We will take care of everything poker related involved in your tournament, allowing you to just relax and play the game, mingle, or whatever your heart's content to do. The Oshawa Poker Series guarantees that, by allowing us to run your event and meeting a few simple conditions, we will pay for ourselves and make you extra profit!! And we don't just run the tournament, we bring EVERYTHING needed in running the event! By allowing us to run your tournament, we will... ~ print flyers to be distributed to OPS members on Tuesdays and among participants in other outside events ~ an e-mail a core group of about 590 poker players in the area, all of whom have contacted us looking for games ~ bring up to 13 eight-to-ten man poker tables (12 regular tables and a final table) ~ work with you to create a schedule to ensure your tournament starts and finishes in the time frame you choose ~ create an entire list of rules, blinds and pay-outs, and send it to you in advance of the tournament (if interested) ~ customize a blind schedule to coincide with your schedule ~ bring all poker chips, pre-sorted into individual starting amounts of your choosing. All poker chips have the chip amounts printed on the chips ~ move players from table to table, and eliminate tables as needed ~ bring top-of-the-line playing cards - BICYCLE, COPAG, KEM, MODIANO. If you know playing cards, you know these are the best of the best! ~ project the blinds so that the entire playing area can see the timer ~ bring background music, which will play a random list of music from all genres and decades ~ register all players, keep track of all eliminated players, and post the final outcome of the tournament on our Facebook site ~ supply dealers for each table, if interested ~ bring along a different set of poker chips for side games, should people want to play.
